How Long Will It Take to Receive My Number Plates?
We begin processing your number plate order as soon as we receive it. Under normal circumstances, we dispatch number plates within 1-3 working day after receiving your order.
Can You Create a Custom Number Plate Size?
Yes! With our CNC routing technology, we can create number plates in any size while maintaining smooth, rounded edges. If you don’t see the size you need on our website, contact us at 01895 256675 or email us. Please note that all plates must comply with legal digit sizing regulations.
Can I Supply My Own Artwork for My Number Plate?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept custom artwork. Since November 1, 2008, UK law prohibits number plate manufacturers from supplying plates that do not comply with legal standards.
Are You Registered with the DVLA to Make Number Plates?
Yes, we are fully registered with the DVLA under the Register of Number Plate Suppliers (RNPS) since 2020. Our registration number is 1328106.
Do You Manufacture Black and Silver Number Plates?
Yes, we produce black and silver number plates in durable non-breakable acrylic. However, UK regulations only permit vehicles made before 1973 to display these plates. Orders for black and silver plates must be placed via telephone at 01895 256675.
Do Number Plates Come Pre-Drilled?
No, we do not pre-drill number plates since vehicles have different mounting hole positions. We recommend using our fitting kit with sticky pads for secure installation.
Can I Cancel My Number Plate Order?
As number plates are custom-made, we begin production immediately upon receiving an order. Due to our rapid processing times, cancellations or modifications are not possible after placing an order.
Can I Place an Order Over the Phone?
Yes! If you prefer not to order online, call us at 01895 256675 during office hours, and we’ll be happy to process your order.
Do You Accept Cheque Payments?
No, we only accept payments via credit or debit card to maintain fast turnaround times. Cheques delay processing and are therefore not accepted.
Can I See a Design Proof Before My Plates Are Made?
Yes! However, we require an order to be placed first. Once payment details are taken, we will email you a design proof and make any necessary adjustments until you approve it.
Can My Number Plates Be Shipped to a Different Address?
No, we only ship number plates to the registered cardholder’s address. This policy helps prevent car cloning and credit card fraud.
Will You Make Number Plates with Illegal Spacing?
No, all number plates must comply with UK law. Regardless of how you enter spacing in your order, we will legally format the digits before dispatching your plates.
Do You Sell Registration Numbers for £20.00?
No, we only manufacture number plates. Customers must already own the registration number they wish to display.
Is It Legal to Have a Badge on My Number Plate?
Selected badges on the builders page are legal to have on your plate.
Do You Ship Number Plates Internationally?
Yes, we ship number plates worldwide. If ordering from outside the UK, call us at 01895 256675 during UK office hours (Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM). Please note that we only provide support in English.
Can I Order a Single Number Plate Instead of a Pair?
Yes! Our plate builder allows you to select both plates, a front plate only, or a rear plate only. Pricing adjusts accordingly, and you can add multiple plates to your basket in one transaction.
Can I Order Multiple Sets of Number Plates?
Yes, you can order multiple number plates in a single transaction. Visit our plate builder to add as many plates as you need.
Will My Number Plates Display Legal Markings?
Yes, all our number plates include the required UK legal markings, including ‘BSAU145d’ and our company details. These markings are small (2.5mm high) and do not interfere with your plate’s design. They are mandatory for UK road legality and help authorities track plates used in crime.
